Changing Document Options

After submitting a job, you can change the document options at the secure printer before printing. For example, if you submitted a color job, you have the option to change it to mono (black & white) from the printer's user interface.

You can change the following document options:

  • Color to black and white
  • Double to single-sided or vice versa
  • Number of copies

To change document options:

  1. Walk up to any secure printer and authenticate.
  2. Select the document you want to modify.
  3. Click Options. This opens a new screen showing the default options that will be applied to your document.
  • 1 copy
  • Double-sided
  • Mono

4. Click Print.

Note: Changing document options is not yet supported on Mobile Release.

Reprinting Documents (Print and Retain)

Reprinting a document may be necessary if you need to be able to print a job once and release it multiple times so that you can proof the content once before creating multiple copies. For example, you can proof one copy in mono and duplex and then print 100 copies single-sided in color.

To reprint documents:

  1. Walk up to any secure printer and authenticate.
  2. Select the document you want to reprint.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Select Print and Retain.

5. Click Print and then collect your documents from the printer tray.

Note: Reprinting a job does not reset the document expiry (i.e. purge jobs after – this period is always calculated from the time the job was first sent to the printer).
